Award-winning artist Katharine Morling creates whimsical and often outlandish sculpture from porcelain and ceramics. Instead of simply making the pieces and leaving them in their ceramic form, the added touch of black in certain spots creates an illusive effect, making the everyday objects look like drawings in real life.

~ How the past few days have gone: [TW: racism, slurs]

Mom: Reverse racism
Mom: What about publishers who only publish black authors?
Me: …
Mom: They called me a “white girl.”
Me: You’re really butthurt, aren’t you?
Mom: If you had black friends in the…

I 100% believe all those things need to change. Hatred and negativity from any race is a problem. From any person in general is a problem. . I view myself as a feminist because I want equality “man hating” or putting down my opposite gender is not the “equality” I want.
I want my children to grow up in a world where it is equal for everyone. Words hurt. Actions hurt. It doesn’t matter who they come from. What race or gender. It should never be considered okay for one person to try to hurt another. Growing up poor you learn of discrimination quickly.
You should never say it’s okay to put someone down because of technicalities. When you’re 14 and being cussed out by someone because you’re white you do not think of those things. You think of how much their words hurt because they are TRYING to hurt you.

Until the things you’ve stated (and more) have changed obviously there won’t be equality.
Do not encourage hatred when we are trying to end a different kind.

Just my opinion of course. Everyone is free to have their own.
